Anyone who has bought a mid to high end graphics card in the last few years will appreciate the amount of heat that is generated when the card is running at full load, not just from the GPU itself, but also from the memory and more importantly the VRMs. Stock coolers are generally just OK, but can be noisy and sometimes not particularly good at their job, so many people choose to fit an after market solution, and that is exactly what we have here today - The Thermalright Spitfire GPU and VRM-R5 VRM coolers.Both the Spitfire and VRM-R5 ship separately, but to get the best from the Spitfire, you really need to use the VRM-R5 (or the appropriate VRM add on for your card) too, so that's what we are going to do.
