Recently we looked at the Spectrum 5XB, SteelSeries’ first attempt at an Xbox 360 gaming headset …. essentially their 5H headset with a clever adapter which allowed you to plug it into an Xbox controller for Xbox Live chat. Not to rest on their laurels, the SteelSeries’ boffins have been working hard behind the scenes to develop a new Xbox headset with a number of exciting features. Today we are going to look at the SteelSeries Spectrum 7XB Xbox 360 headset which sits right at the top of SteelSeries’ range of headsets. Even though it shares some of its DNA with the 7H, the 7XB is an all new product that boasts features that we’ve never seen before on SteelSeries’ headsets, such as wireless connectivity.
