If you have never heard of Sceptre you are not alone. Before a quick PR during CES we had never hear of them either. However, after a few e-mails back and forth we found that Sceptre is a display manufacturer. They make displays for computer systems as well as for home entertainment. We talked with them and were able to arrange to try out their 27-inch HD display, the X270W-1080P. As the name implies it is a 27-inch HD monitor that is capable of 1080p playback [1920x1080 resolution]. We attached this to our GPU test bench and ran a few games, movies, and other graphical applications over it to see how it fared.
