Prolimatech blasted onto the scene this year with their original Megahalems CPU cooler, but it wasn't until we published details of DFI's secret monster cooler that we realised it was in fact a Prolimatech Megahalems.  Since then, the Megahalems has gone on to be the take the crown from the Thermalright Ultra Extreme (TRUE) as the benchmarker's choice and has won numerous awards around the globe.Fast forward a few months and we finally get our hands on a Megahalems, in time to run it against a handful of the current top CPU coolers - The Megahalems did exceptionally well, only coming second to the mighty Noctua NH-D14.  In those tests, however, we only used the Noctua low speed fans and Prolimatech were keen to point out that the Megahalems performs better with fan that have a higher static pressure and higher CFM/RPM.  The Noctua fans we used, do have a relatively high static pressure for their speed, and is more than many fans can manage even at much higher CFMs.  In our quest to find some hugely powerful fans, we stumbled upon the Scythe Ultra Kaze 120mm models with a massive 3000RPM, these babies are 38mm deep and have a heavy duty feel to them - Perfect. Our Megahalems is the latest revision B which sports a new, universal back-plate and a stainless steel top fin to give a nice shiny appearance and to protect against scratches and oxidisation from fingerprintsWith all that in mind, how will the Megahalems perform with our high performance fans?  Read on to find out...
