A couple of weeks ago Sapphire proved that there was still some significant life in the 6950, even 6-7 months after its launch, by releasing a custom version of the card with enhanced cooler. They are not the only manufacturer who focus on improving on the AMD design though and today on our test bench we have PowerColor's latest take on the 6950, the PCS+ Vortex 2. It too has a custom design with enhanced cooling but this cooler is a very unique design, even for PowerColor.
