Both NVIDIA and AMD receive a lot of focus from consumers and the press on their high end products such as the GeForce GTX 580 or Radeon 6990 but a much larger part of their business is the midrange market. At this more affordable level both manufacturers and their partners flood the market with products, each trying to offer features, performance and value which will appeal to large groups of consumers.
