Sandy Bridge has a lot to answer for, it has changed the way we overclock, and it has also changed the rules about memory too.  It wasn't too long ago that to give your system a noticeable boost in performance, you could go and buy a faster memory kit and that would be that.  Sadly (depending on how you look at it), on Sandy Bridge, the extra memory speeds do very little for overall system performance, with the exception of some benchmarks and a few sparse gaming titles. Today, we'll be looking at an enthusiast grade kit from G.Skill, it is from their all new RipjawX range, and it is designed to run at 2133MHz with 9-11-9-28-2N timings at 1.5v.  The F3-17000CL9D-8GBXLD kit, or the Ripjaws X as we'll call them from here on in, are G.Skill's flagship Ripjaws X kit, and come with their rather good memory cooler, an all new set of heat spreaders and have been designed specifically for Sandy Bridge - How will they perform?  Read on to find out...
