G.Skill have been around for a number of years now, twenty one to be precise, I can remember buying my first set around five years ago, they were the much sought after HZ 3-4-4-8 500MHz 2GB kit with Samsung UCC ICs and they are still going strong to this day after much torture! In recent years, G.Skill have developed a reputation for producing enthusiast grade memory kits, and that's exactly what we have for review today, the F3-16000CL6T-6GBPID (F3 from here on in).The kit comprises of 3x2GB modules, each running at 2000MHz / 6-9-6-24 2N and 1.65v. Each module is clad in a black anodised aluminum heat spreader, and also included in the kit is G.Skill's dual fan memory cooler, more on these later. From previous testing, we know that CAS 6 at 1600MHz can sometimes equal or beat CAS 7 or 8 at 2000MHz in some circumstances, so how will these modules perform at 6-9-6-24 / 2000MHz? Read on to find out...
