Gigabyte is one of the largest motherboard makers out. They generally compete head to head with Asus and have, in the past, gotten into some ugly confrontations with them. With the introduction of SATA 3.0 and USB 3.0 Gigabyte found themselves in an odd position. They had products with these new features but due to a miscalculation in the way these new features would be used they ended up looking a little foolish. However, Gigabyte quickly fixed that issue and pushed forward with their high-end Ultra Durable series of products. Today we are taking a look at one of them - the GA-P55A-UD7. As you can tell from the name this board is a P55 based product and supports any of the Socket LGA-1156 processors from Intel. So let’s dive in and see what this board has to offer us.
