Headliner. I challenge you to a game of horseshoes. A GAME OF... oh, wait. Wrong Arrested Development song. As you can see by the picture above, it's raining Revolution here at the site thanks to Enermax. Yes, I'm taking a look at the Revolution87+ 1000 watt model, to see what the latest in Revolutions is like. And you know what I just realized? I've tested an awful lot of thousand watt models lately, most of them with right around the same load specs. Let's see... we had that big Platinum Seasonic, and we had the XFX unit. Mustn't forget the Thortech. And looking ahead, I have at least two more units with right around the same load specs: one of them 80 Plus Gold like this one, and one of them Platinum. And with the load specs so close together, this is going to make comparisons easy. I've been asked to test at least one of these kilowatters in the exact same way I did the Seasonic Platinum, so why don't I extend that courtesy to this Enermax unit and all the others, too? Now, to be sure, I do have to make my tests run with test three at 50% load, so I won't pattern things exactly like the Seasonic. Rather, I'll use the XFX review as a model, because it's the same platform. Fair enough? Let's check out some marketing.
