Not too long ago we began to break into the workstation arena with both motherboard and GPUs. One of the first companies to support us in this was Asus. We took a look at their P55 flavored P7P55 WS SuperComputer. This board was an excellent performer and a great value despite not having SATA 3.0 or USB 3.0.  Well Asus has sent us what appears to be the follow on for that board, the P7F7-E WS SuperComputer. This board comes complete with SATA 3.0, USB 3.0 Tri SLI, Crossfire X, Dual LAN with load balancing, 802.3 link Aggregation, and even Clarkdale CPU+GPU support; all of this for only $290 from most e-tailers.  We have the Xeon 3470 all warmed up, so let’s dive in and see what we can get this board to do.
