Just a few months ago, consumer research firm Millward Brown released their listing of the most trusted and recommended brands in America. Naturally, the scope of the branding was wide, listing service providers, internet only companies as well as purveyors of physical articles. Not so surprisingly, one company actually took three of the top ten spots in the survey. This was Procter and Gamble, weighing in with household names (household items, as it turns out) Pampers, Downy and Tide. When you think about it, that is pretty diverse. Sure, Tide and Downy are laundry products, but diapers are about as far away from detergent as you can get. Don’t forget about the extensive list of other household items that P&G makes. Some companies just make a point of doing things right.
